Filter points
Filter the points of a geometric element (polyline, polygon or path) by removing unnecessary points.
The filter is defined by a corridor of a given radius to fix the points of the chord and delete those whose distance to the chord is less than the radius.
The curve segments of the path elements are replaced by straight line segments
Filter points

Showcase steps

  1. Select a polyline, polygon, path element
  2. Click Filter points icon
  3. Set the filter radius in pixelsPoints included in the corridor are deleted
  4. The filter indicates the number of points removedClick OK to apply the filter
  5. Select a polygon
  6. Define the chord positionThe Min position reduces the area of the polygonIf described clockwise
  7. Define the chord positionThe Max position increases the area of the polygonIf described clockwise

Smooth vertices
Smoothing the vertices of a polyline, polygon or path.
Polylines and polygons are replaced by paths.
Smoothing goes through the points of the curve with arc of 4 types (cubic, cubic smooth, quadratic, quadratic smooth).
It is advisable to first remove redundant points using the "Filter points" function.
